CAS Thank You Card

Happy Saturday, everyone!
We woke up this morning to about 14 degrees F with a light dusting of snow. We love the snow. Can't wait for it cover everything in a white blanket of beauty.

Today's card is a CAS (Clean and Simple) one made especially for CAS Colours & Sketches. I thought I'd throw in my application for the Design Team. Doesn't hurt to try, right? They have color challenges and sketch challenges that alternate every other week. Color Challenges are usually a little challenging for me, but thankfully this blog uses the Stampin' Up color names (although you can use any company's product as long as you match the colors as best you can.) Since I have all the Stampin' Up colors, that has taken a lot of work out of it for me. And you all know how much I love to use sketches!!

The current color challenge is....

Here's my card....
I've been itching to use this new stamp set. This card was easy and fun.
You can make it too!

Whisper White cardstock for card base and image mat.
Night of Navy matting layer.
Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere image mat to card base.
Painted Harvest stamp set (love!)

{By the way, that Flirty Flamingo almost looks orange stamped on top of the Lemon Lime Twist. I promise it really is Flirty Flamingo though. You can see it around the edges where it didn't land on top of the green.}

This stamp set can be used for two-step stamping.
The flower and the leaves were both stamped twice with different stamps that coordinate for layering, and in different colors.

If you'd like to do some shopping, here are some easy links that will take you directly to the product in the store. Don't forget to use the current Host Code (at bottom of post).

Enjoy your day, everyone! It's going to be glorious!

:) Janis

Stampin' Blends Available to Order on November 1st !

I am no artist. So although this is a huge deal to me, I'm sure to you guys who have been coloring for years with alcohol markers won't think twice about my attempts here. LOL

Stampin' Up is debuting Stampin' Blends on November 1st.
As a demonstrator, me and all the other demos out there have had the opportunity to get them in our hands early to try them out for ourselves. (One of the many perks of being a Stampin' Up demo is getting to play with the new toys early!)  I've had them for a couple of weeks now. It's been so hard not to shout about them to everyone! I love them.

I'm using a brand new stamp set and card kit being released next month that work well with the Stampin' Blends. Below is just a small portion of what I'm working on right now.

Here are my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd attempt at coloring the same images.
Like I said, I'm no artist, but this was still a whole lot of fun for me.

If you love alcohol markers or if you've never owned any, but want to, they will be available to order on November 1st.  Stampin' Up is even making them available to choose as part of your New Demonstrator Kit when you sign up!
I'd LOVE to have you on my team!!

If you do not already have a Stampin' Up demonstrator,
I'd love to be your SU demo!
You can find my store at

Be sure to check out the Clearance section and current promotions.
My current Host Code is E9XUFH4Q.
This code is good Oct 19 thru Nov 9.
Be sure to use it on Nov 1st to order the new Stampin' Blends!
